Master Dayton: Advice for New Freelance Writers

Welcome to "Master Dayton's" blog. This is just the introduction, but in the future I will be sharing all the knowledge and information I've gained over the years about freelance writing to help you avoid the mistakes I've made and get you making some decent money freelancing and helping you to acheive your freelance writing goals, whatever those might be.

There's no snobbery here, and no deceit. I will NEVER offer you "can't miss" advice on any type of writing that I've never done, I'll NEVER reccomend a product that I haven't reviewed and that I don't use myself, and I will NEVER put down someone as being a "noob" or "idiot" for wanting to do something different. There are many types of writing and some people don't want to write technical writing or learn two years worth of marketing to make money with Adsense. Some do.

That's okay. I've done a lot of different types of writing covering the full gamut of writing from creative writing to freelance writing, so this blog will contain a lot of useful information and hopefully something all of you can use. Hey everyone. This is a free freelance writing resources page that offers sign up links, articles, blogs, and other great resources for beginning freelance writers. These are meant to help beginning online freelance writers, and to be a page where you can find a lot of information that hopefully really helps out your freelance writing and/or marketing career.

The blogs and articles are ones that I feel legitimately offers a lot of help for you newbie writers looking to land writing gigs or other freelance writing opportunities. There are sign up links for many of the places online where you can write for money, and if you're looking for some of the best of the best in fields I haven't mastered yet (i.e. Internet Marketing, Adsense, etc.) then you'll find those here, too.

As a paranoid non techie, I hate spammers or anything even close to them. I completely and totally respect your privacy and am committed to safeguarding it while you are visiting my blogs. The following discloses the information gathering practices for this site.

Tracking:
I use Statcounter to determine how many people visit Master Dayton and to find out where the traffic is coming from. Statcounter collects basic information including internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. I use this information to learn what is popular on the site and what keywords people use to find me. It is important to note that IP addresses, etc. are NOT linked to personally identifiable information.

Cookies:
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. Most web browsers will accept cookies by default, but they can be set to reject cookies, either from all websites or from specific sites. You can also manually delete cookies from your web browser. These options are generally set through a "Privacy" setting in your browser setup. I don’t set cookies directly on this site, but outside advertising providers on this site, basically Google, do use cookies to collect data on browsing habits.
